WHAT IF

In relation to my previous entry, this is one of our non-sense discussions.

According to Janrey, one of our batchmates, Bridget, if he remembered it right, mentioned that, what if the masses or the poorest of the poor were deported to North Pole in large ships to decrease population and poverty in the Philippines?

Here are the reactions:
1. From Mikey: The masses are important to us. Without them, we will not have workers such as maids, drivers and construction workers.
(True. Reasonable.)
2. From Janrey: How can the masses survive in such a cold whether?
3. From me: Of course they will survive! They will be able to develop penguin products industry. Penguin sushi, sinigang na penguin, adobong penguin,… and the penguins will become endangered species.
4. From Janrey: Oo nga. Tapos yayaman sila… and the middle class left in the Philippines will become envious.
5. Also from Janrey: It’s not feasible. If we move the masses there, it will be our tragedy. What if mag-wee-wee sila dun tapos matunaw yung mga ice,… babahain tayo dito.
