WINTER BREAK
Most people went home for the winter break, soooo sad. The three of us (me, ivy and oopa), instead of dying of boredom, took the chance to go to places.
1. Tong'An. We're supposed to take the bus to go to our teacher's hometown. Unfortunately, all bus tickets were sold out that day. We took our adventure to Tong'An instead. Look what we've found! It's a replica of Tiananmen Square of Beijing. Although it's 1/4 the original size, it's really really huge.
2. The week after, we went to Hong Kong. It's cool! It's like a combination of China, Singapore and Manila. Filipinas are everywhere! It's the land of the good food!... and a great place to shop too. Unfortunately, I can't shop that much coz it's difficult to bring them when I go back to Manila. The tall buildings which I used to study for the board exams,... I finally them for real!
3. Yuan Xiao Jie. This is the 15th day of the 1st month of the lunar calendar. They celebrate it with display of lanterns. After the event, we had a really long walk coz there are so many people, no way to take a bus or cab.
