PENGUIN TAKES A BATH

I brought my dear Penguin to the dry cleaner today.

Even though I tried to postpone it for about 3 months (since I told myself to have him cleaned by his 1st birthday), I really have to do it coz he's dirty enough to cause my pimple outbreaks.

He rode with us (mumty and me)while we do our errands, all the way to the yearbook printing press, to eastwood for lunch, and finally I have to leave him there in the laundry store. It was a horrible sight to see him in a huge clear plastic bag with all those dirty clothes. Next time he has to take a bath, I'll put him inside a sealed clear plastic bag and put a note saying "Please take care of me."

This is gonna be a long week. I shouldn't be depressed in anyway coz my little fat penguin is temporarily not available to make me smile.

MY LITTLE CLIENT

One day, Jason called.

Jason: Go-e... di ba you're an architect?
Me: Yes, why?
Jason: Can you build me a house in our garden?

Great. He wants a play house. Is that feasible? What materials can I use? Wood easily rots. High impact plastic is too flimsy. It cannot stand any typhoon or rain. Stainless steel is expensive. Plastic... duh, why not buy a ready made playhouse? Bamboo... There's also a ready made native house. Concrete is too massive. And so I cannot think of a feasible building material that would stand the weather if I would really build that house. The best thing is to buy ready made.

Me: Jason, the house will get wet.
Jason: Then put a roof!

Gee... the little kid thinks I'm dumb.

OATHTAKING

We were finally inducted as new architects last Sunday. I'm so glad that I'm not a nurse, who are rallying these past few days coz their registration was temporarily on hold.

To Panny... You're right, you contributed a lot!
1. For the spf 45 Neutrogena Sunblock as my ulitimate sun protection while commuting to and from the Manila City Hall and PRC.
2. For the endless supply of lotions. So kung ayaw ko na mag-aral, lagay nalang ako ng lotion.
3. For my AK watch, as my time limit guide during the 3 days of exam.
4. For my pretty office shoes... although this has nothing to do with the board exams. I might use my black Naturalizer shoes for the oathtaking. FYI, my Steven shoes is now in bad condition due to excessive use. I'm ready to accept new pairs of the same style.
5. For the supply of body wash, shampoo, facial wash, etc... For helping me save time and money for toiletries... duh! Kelangan ba talaga manggaling pa to sa US? By the way, Jason loved the Loreal citrus shampoo.
6. For staying there in the US. Sally and I have the reason to shop for more stuff, so we have something to send to you. Shopping is a good therapy.
