DVBS

Inspite of all the tragedies I've been experiencing regarding the board exam application and my fruitless review days, at least something good is happening in my other side of life.

Here's our room in DVBS (Daily Vacation Bible School). Bulk of it though is done by an artist. We only did the bulletin boards, the banners, props for the parade and Sunday programme.

Here's also Justine and Jason.

Meet some of my students. They're really really nice, always cooperative, quiet in class, listens to instructions... Although sometimes they are demanding. Like for the crafts session every day... they would always call us... "teacher, teacher, please help me..." We teachers would usually end up moving from one student to another assisting them, or rather doing portions of the instructions for them. Today we had film showing. My hand ached for opening so many bottles of their drinks. Of course I have to respond when they call me... "Teacher, teacher, can you open this for me?" Oh well,... I'm dealing with pampered kids. Sometimes I wonder if I was like that too when I was younger.

MOMENTS WITH THE KIDS

MARCH 32
It was the last day of March. Jason was in our house when he saw this one-page-per-day calendar(the one that you have to tear the page everyday). He said, "It's 31 already?!... Tomorrow it will be 32."

ICE CREAM
I went to a neighborhood grocery and brought home some ice cream. I gave Justine a stick of Kimmy. To my surprise, Jason asked for ice cream too. I never knew that he can be interested in ice cream when he hates milk. After a few minutes... (just look at the pic).

CHILDREN'S PARTY
Also, last Sunday, I went to my nephew's 1st birthday party. The event is quite a surprise coz i didn't know that my cousin already got married (probably in papers but without church wedding).
Anyway, Sally and my mom took the kids with us. The kids, being out without their mom, kept on dragging me as a substitite stage mommy. Sally and I were able to supply them a number of items for the game "bring me". Justine dragged me to the nanay edition of pabitin so she can have more toys. We went home with too much stuff, a grocery bag of toys and goodies, balloons, 2 mickey foot stools, mickey and minnie stuffed toys...
Food is great. Although they have real food catered... who cares?! I just got the fun stuff from the FIC booth and the chocolate fountain table.
