REUNION

I spent the whole day with Mumty, most times in UP, as we went around in those college old territories. We went back to our ever favorite Thai Canteen for our dose of tom yum soup and had snack at Chocolate Kiss. We stayed around the usual bench near the 4th floor round table at arki and talked about anything under the sun. We bought for ourselves interesting baby tees with printed cross section of aced oval. Also be bought a big version of that acad oval shirt for Chow. Finally, we were able to take our first picture with Mr. Oblation.

Finally, we were able to go out as a group once again,... me, Taz, Risha and Ros. Risha, Taz and I went to this new burger place in Libis called the Firefighters. This is owned by Risha's cousin's boyfriend. Buffalo wings's great! We're not expecting that we can fish out Ros in that area. It so happened that she's having dinner with her parents within the vicinity that we were able to pick her up in Eastwood. Too bad Taz has to leave us early. We dropped her off near MRT station and went to Metrowalk.

Everyone seems to be the same cool people as I've known for years. Perhaps the only thing that's changed is that Taz has broken the curse of singleness in our group. As they say, birds of the same feather flock together. I hope for a great year ahead for all of us.

CHRISTMAS BREAK

I'm not really used to this kind of life... being a bum.

The day after the Christmas party, my whole family fetched me from White Plains and we went straight to Nasugbu. Cool. I was looking forward to this trip for weeks. Unfortunately, it's the first day of my most awaited visitor, who happened to be late for about 2 weeks. Good thing that I don't intend to swim. So I spent hours trying to build a fantastic sandcastle. For the fact that I didn't bother to take a picture of it,... it must be something. Actually, it looks like an eroded ziggurat. I also spent a great deal of time with my neice Justine chasing after hermit crabs.

After the beach trip, I'm back to my home in Malabon at last. As a bum, I spent my 2 days as a couch potato, tyring to finish all possible DVDs I can watch during the break. I also wasted countless hours hooked on the net to maximize this DSL connection. What else? There's really nothing much to say about this life.

LAST DAY OF WORK

December 23 2004. Finally it's the last day of work. I find it difficult to drag myself to work, so I came in late for a few minutes even though i only live less than 2km away from the office. Since I am fully aware that this is not gonna be an ordinary working day, I dressed up with skirt to comply with the dresscode but this time with my usual Saturday baby tee which is not really professional looking by any means. So I entered the office in my most jologs outfit.

Then I noticed that half of the people are wearing red. I told Eugine, people in this office seems to be attending a Chinese birthday party. So instead of teaching them to say Merry Christmas in Chinese, I ended up saying happy birthday over and over again for the office people to get the exact words.

After lunch, we started packing our things to make sure all documents are well kept over the break. By mid-afternoon, we were pulled out of work to start planning for the party programme. On the other hand, the "cadders" started their jamming session on the other end of te office which can be heard on the opposite side. No prob with our boss.

I went home a bit ealy to rest and to dress up for the party. I had my red 3/4 shirt and sequined jeans on. To go with the "bright red and green" theme, i added a thick gold red and green ribbon to my hair as a headband. Later in the party, I turned on my glowing neclace and bracelet my mom bought for the party.

I met several new people at the party: A former PA and his wife, Mrs. Payumo (the mother of Mr. Payumo) and Mrs. Payumo (the wife of Mr. Payumo).

We had some games like exchange (padamihan ng clothing items na pwedeng exchange - for boys only), PAs on A0 (stop dance of project architects on St. Luke's old floor plans in A0 sized paper), and beauty school (blindfolded girls giving their guy partner a makeover). We also had our raffle, where I won a 2000Php worth of gift certificate to SM. Not bad. Hehe, sa dami ng lights ko, I also won the best in costume tied with Sir Ed.

Finally the day ended without me having to sip an alcoholic drink. I'm driving. That's a good excuse. Of course I'm refusing their drink. They don't have mule.

buhay pa ko

yeah, i'm still alive, though i haven't really took some time to write on my blog.

nakakatamad. pasko na. sobra na kong homesick. nilayasan pa ko ni oreo. bastos na cat yun.

so sobrang lonely na dito sa bahay. walang maingay. wala nang nangungulit sakin pag umuuwi ako from work.

these are the stuff that i'm into for the past few weeks:
1. mag-bazaar sa Christ the King Church every weekend. it all started when taz invited me to visit her booth. it was then i discovered na yun na ang pinaka cheap mag tinda na bazaar other than divisoria.
2. bumili ng bbq, kuchinta and bibingka. dun din sa may simbahan.
3. matulog. lamig eh.
4. magbalot ng gifts with my craft paper wrapper. wala na kong mahanap na glorified craft paper type of wrapper.
5. mangarap mag-bangkok and sana singapore din/ kumagat sa invite ni risha.
6. mangarap magbakasyon sa malabon. sana Dec 24 na.
7. mangarap mag beach. sana Dec 25 na.

wala na. yun lang.
